E-mail Alias for Single User
1. edit a file /etc/mail/virtusertable and append the following line.
cklam@newdomain.com
cklam
mchan@newdomain.com
mchan
info@newdomain.com

maggie.chan@newdomain.com mchan

klau@otherdomain.com klau
kenlau@otherdomain.com klau
@otherdomain.com

cklam :Emails send to
cklam@newdomain.com or info@newdomain.com will store in cklam account.
mchan :Emails send
to maggie.chan@newdomain.com
or mchan@newdomain.com or any other username under @newdomain.com will
store in mchan account.
klau: Emails send
to klau@otherdomain.com
or kenlau@otherdomain.com will
store in mchan account.
wchan :Emails send
to any other username under @newdomain.com will
store in mchan account.
Note: the username in here must a valid Linux User.
2. execute the command makemap to generate the new virtual domain table.
# makemap hash /etc/mail/virtusertable <
/etc/mail/virtusertable
3. restart the sendmail
# /etc/rc.d/init.d/sendmail restart

1. Edit the file /etc/aliases, append the alias list at the bottom of
the file.
